Even though you as a boss should be in charge of promoting your business, your employees should help as well. First of all, you have to make sure your employees are satisfied. A happy employee will always be ready to spread a word about your business. It is also important to show them how you want them to  promote your business. Here are a couple of ways you can use.

Probably all of your employees have at least one social media account and you should encourage them to share a link to your company’s website with their friends. Take a look at it like this. An average person knows around 200 people. Let’s say you have 10 employees, that’s 2000 potential customers for you. Besides on their personal social media, they can promote your business on the business networks like LinkedIn. Just make sure they know exactly how to do it.

Sponsoring Opportunities

Talk to your employees and make sure they know you are ready to sponsor things like charity walks or their kids’ sports teams. Things like this won’t cost you much but are a nice exposure for your business. It is also a great way to give something back to your employees. Being ready to take part in their personal lives (like sponsoring some events for them) will make your employees happy and more loyal to your company.

They meet so many people at such events and each of them is a potential customer for you. Of course, we are not suggesting that your employees go and give your visit cards to each person they meet. In such conversations, they should mention the name and location of your company. Also, prepare them to be ready to answer any questions about the company.

Promotional products are unparalleled when it comes to business promotion. There are no reasons why you should only give them away at your office or store. Distribute them to your employees and have them share it with the people they meet. Things like pens and key chains are something that many businesses use. Another good thing to do is to make coupons you will give to your employees who can pass it further to their family and friends. Not only this, but this will also make your employees happy since they can save up some money for the people they know. Of course, social media comes up again. It is hard to emphasize how well all of these strategies will work for you, especially if you have created a happy working environment for all of your employees. Being friendly and polite will always make your employees happy and ready to help you promote your business.
